Cundy's Harbor

Stretched out into the Casco Bay’s cold water Cundy’s Harbor has more to offer than just a pretty view. The hosts of American authors, poets and artists, all of whom have been inspired by the rich sea scape and traditional ambience of Cundy’s Harbor. As part fo the larger community of Harpswell, we have more miles of coastline than any other Maine town. Over 100 miles to enjoy! Any time is a good time to visit us, though there are some festivities that are not to be missed. Cundy’s Harbor is a small township located in the southern mid coast region of Maine. Together with surrounding towns, Harpswell Center, Great Island, Orr's Island and Baily Island they make up over 100 miles of coastline. With just over a few hundred residents this is a traditional commercial lobstering community. A quick 20 minute drive to Brunswick or Bath. While quiet and seemingly remote, it was only a twenty-minute drive to historic Bath or to the college town of Brunswick. Additionally, the harbor provided convenient access to all of Harpswell. The township consists of a western peninsula with Harpswell Center south of Brunswick, as well as a collection of islands and villages, including Great Island with Cundy’s Harbor, Orr’s Island, and Bailey Island , all interconnected with bridges.
