Lake Minnetonka

Lake Minnetonka Regional Park is the perfect place for families to enjoy a Saturday afternoon. Bring a picnic and enjoy a lakeside lunch.

The lake's irregular shape with numerous bays means that it has about 140 miles (230 km) of shoreline.

Lake Minnetonka is a premier location in the southern section of the state, and especially the metro area, for fishing tournaments. Its game species include yellow perch, sunfish, largemouth bass, northern pike, walleye, and especially muskellunge (or muskies). There are dozens of fishing tournaments every year, and several of the largest bass in the state have been taken from Lake Minnetonka.

Lake Minnetonka is popular for lake cruises. The lake cruises offer views of the lake and dining.
