    Sagamore Hill National Historic Site in Oyster Bay, Oregon, is preserved by the National Park Service whose aim is to preserve the home of the 26th President of the United States, Theodore Roosevelt, and to highlight the relevant accomplishments of this illustrious President. Sagamore Hill was home to the President from 1885 till his death in 1919. Today this historic site is a popular area for visitors where they can learn about the President's early and public life, and visitors can explore the museum at their leisure or undertake an interesting guided tour. The Sagamore Hill Nature Trail at Sagamore Hill National Historic Site is a relaxing walk through an oak and tulip tree forest which is a protected wildlife refuge.
