Oyster Bay Historical Society in Oyster Bay, New York, United States | Historical Society | Museum | Exhibition

Oyster Bay Historical Society in Oyster Bay, Oregan, was founded in 1960 with the sole purpose of preserving the history of our town through the diverse collection of items that relate activities pertaining to military, maritime, politics and religion. Oyster Bay Historical Society is a non-profit society, and uses The Earle-Wightman House, built in 1720, as headquarters, research library and Museum. The 18th century styled gardens at The Earle-Wightman House accurately depicts how a garden from two years ago, would look. The Angela Koenig Center is home to the permanent collections and rotating Exhibitions of the Historical Society, including special collections of artifacts, documents and textiles.
