Anaura Bay

Anaura Bay was used as a location for some of the scenes in the film "Whalerider". This picturesque spot is a beautiful unspoilt location. Anaura Bay is a typically rural Kiwi settlement off the beaten track.
There is a small camping ground and just a few houses dotted around. Activities include fishing, and diving, and surfing wind and swell conditions are just right (suitable for beginners too).
