Tofino is in the middle of the rainforest on the open ocean surrounded by all kinds of wild life, its paradise. If that's not enough Tofino has beautiful beaches, to walk or surf, there are all sorts of tours to go bear or whale watching or spend the day at hot springs cove. Or go kayaking around Clayoquot sound. Or perhaps an otter or seal will become curious about you passing by. Martins and mink compete with raccoons for local seafood along the shoreline. Keep an eye out for the cormorants, loons, ducks, Murrelets and grebes that spend their days fishing these Clayoquot Sound waters. If you choose our Meares Island tour, you will also explore the ancient rainforest, where you can find some of the largest Cedar and Spruce trees in Canada, with unique observations provided by your guide. TOFINO HOT SPRINGS Hot Springs Cove lies 26 nautical miles up the coast from Tofino at Maquinna Provincial Park. For thousands of years, natural thermal hot springs have poured out of the rocks and spilled out on the edge of the Pacific Ocean in Northern Clayoquot Sound. Located at the mouth of a narrow peninsula, the springs are perched right at the water's edge overlooking the open ocean, and are accessible only by boat or plane. Long a favorite stopover of locals and passing fishing vessels, this magical place is now accessible to all. Jamie's Daily tours transport thousands of happy travelers to these Hot Springs each year. Join us for a magical trip through the heart of Clayoquot Sound to Hot Springs Cove.
