Den Haag

In Den Haag (The Hague) you can find two seaside resorts: the fashionable Scheveningen and the quieter Kijkduin. Sunbathing, taking a breath of fresh air, shopping or dining... the beach attracts visitors all year long.

Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands lives and works in Den Haag (The Hague). All foreign embassies and government ministries are located in the city.

In the hot summer months you can sunbathe on the beach or stroll down the boulevard. In the winter you can experience the raw elements of wind and sea, go shopping and then drink a cup of hot cocoa.

City life concentrates around the Hofvijver and the Binnenhof, where the parliament is located.
