Schiphol is located in the Haarlemmermeer municipality of North Holland, Netherlands. Informally known as Schiphol Airport, the Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is built as one large terminal and is the third busiest in Europe. There is a large rooftop viewing area, many hotels to stay in close by and the Rijksmuseum operates an annex here with a small overview of both classical and contemporary art.
