Champagne Golf in Winterton, Central Drakensburg, Kwazulu Natal, is a beautiful 18-hole championship golf course with a magnificent clubhouse and large pub where golfers can discuss their day on the course. A large fireplace welcomes guests into an atmosphere that is warm and cosy on cold winter evenings. Kikuyu grass has been planted on all the fairways, creating a lush green carpet of grass, which generously adds to the beauty of this course. At Champagne Golf we are proud of our greens that have been planted with L93 bent-grass which is ideal for this region, as it remains green even in the winter months. Our fairways are wide, and are bordered by light rough, which hopefully discourage misdirected shots. There are 84 well appointed and well shaped bunkers dotted along the fairways and greens, complete with white silica sand.
