    The World Birding Center in Brownsville, Texas, USA is a world class birding destination, and is a network of nine sites along the 120 miles of river road from South Padre Island to Roma. Featuring habitats from dry chaparral brush and verdant riverside thickets to freshwater marshes and coastal wetlands, more than 10,000 acres will be opened up for prime viewing. The mission of the World Birding Center is to protect the native habit while increasing the understanding and appreciation of the birds and wildlife. Centered at Bentsen-Rio Grande Valley State Park, the World Birding Center project is a global model for conservation and eco tourism development. They will be offering viewing stations, watching towers, interpretive centers and programs, and they intend to grow tourism and the number of acres protected in the Rio Grande Valley, so all benefit, and it's the perfect chance to see their famous birds.
