    Welcome to Dukem Restaurant in Washington DC, a casual Ethopian restaurant serving authentic African cuisine. The dining room has plain wooden tables, and a feature bar with miniature columns. Guests are also welcome to dine in the outdoor patio when the weather is warm. We have also expanded our VIP bar which can now be used for private functions and parties for up to 50 guests. Dukem Restaurant serves mouth-watering vegetarian and non vegetarian meals, and has an extensive, diverse menu for diners to choose from. Our meals are served on platters set in the centre of the table, and always accompanied by injera, which you eat by tearing off pieces and scooping up bits of food, creating a different, yet interesting way of dining. Should you wish to prepare any of our dishes at home, we have a grocery store that supplies all the ingredients you would require, such as spices, injera and oils to compliment your home-cooked meal of African cuisine.
