Southport Yacht Club in Southport, Maine was established all the way back in 1923 and has a long history of sailing instruction and racing on the Sheepscot River, as well as promoting boating on the Maine coast. They also offer fun and entertainment, and host many social events for their members at their wonderful location on Cosy Harbory, Southport Island in Maine. Southport Yacht Club sponsors numerous events during Summer and member's enjoy use of the facilities including the docks, launching ramp, and cooking grills. There's an emphasis on sailing through the junior program.
