While at Festival Foods, Sheldon developed his pasty recipe based on customer input. As the pasties got better, Sheldons reputation grew. Sheldon dreamed of opening his own pasty shope and discussed it many times with his son, Roy. Finally, in October of 2001, Roy & Denise Narhi and their five children moved from Cokato, Minnesota to Atlantic Mine. Together with Sheldon & Eda Narhi, they opened Sheldons Pasties & Bakery.
