Settler Sands Holiday Apartments on the Port Alfred beachfront, adjacent to the Kowie River Mouth and West Beach in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. All units are self-contained and self-catering. We have a selection of 2 or 3 bedroom units, most with sea or river views, open plan living, full bathroom/s, and guest cloakroom.

We are now a 3 Star graded establishment with the Tourism Grading Council. Port Alfred is situated halfway between PE and East London on the R72 and Sunshine Coast in the Eastern Cape.

Settler Sands Holiday Apartments units are individually owned and furnished. While each 2 bedroom unit we let out is of equal size and sleeps 4 ? 5 people, some units differ in sleeping arrangements. A 2 bedroom unit has a double or queen bed in the main bedroom (sleeps 2), and either 2 single beds (sleeps 2) or a bunk bed and 1 x single bed in the 2nd bedroom (sleeps 3). Both bedrooms are situated upstairs. Most units have a full bathroom upstairs, and all have a guest cloakroom downstairs. The kitchen, dining area and living area is open plan. Double doors open onto a paved patio with built in braai in front, except West Beach facing units which have built in braai?s in the back courtyard. Most units have an enclosed back courtyard with wash line, cold water shower, and fresh water tank- piped to the kitchen. One covered carport is provided per 2 bedroom unit.

We have a small number of 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom units that sleep 6, which have 2 covered carports for guest parking. The 3 bedroom units have a double or queen bed in the main en suite bedroom (sleeps 2), and 2 x single beds in each of the other 2 bedrooms (sleeps 4).These units sleep 6 in total. Linen is provided and DSTV is available in most units.
