Santa Cruz SportFishing, Inc. was founded in 1992 by Ed, Judy and Tim Zoliniak, Captain. in December of 1991 we found the charter boat we were looking for in Washington. Making the trip to Santa Cruz in December in rough conditions, we knew right away we had made a wise choice in purchasing a 50 foot Delta. Once in Santa Cruz, we renamed her "Makaira."
Over the next 12 years we enjoyed offering quality sportFishing, whale watching cruises, bird watching cruises, cruises of the Monterey Bay Sanctuary, and scatterings at sea.
