Lorain County Speedway in Amherst, Ohio is a wonderful sports venue for exhilarating racing entertainment and is open every Saturday through September at 7:00pm. They opened all the way back in 1949 as a dirt oval, and was paved in the early 1960's for the 1960 and 1961 racing seasons. Lorain County Speedway hosts racing on the Modified division, motorcross, has a Powerline Engine Grand National Division, Charger division and so much more, and the summer of 2015, will host the ISMA Summercade, and will mark the first time since 1984 in the tracks history that it will be hosting an ISMA (International Super-Modified Association) event. Lorain County Speedway also offers track status alerts via sms or email for RainOut messages, so sign up for those, and if it's not rained out, come enjoy a world of thrilling fun out on the track.
