The Jacksonville Maritime Heritage Center in Jacksonville, Florida, is passionate about preserving and interpreting the maritime history of Jacksonville for the present and future generation and hopes that through its collection of books, documents and artefacts, to instil in visitors of all ages, a deeper appreciation and understanding of our maritime heritage. Established in 1985, Jacksonville Maritime Heritage Center is a non profit organisation that is run by dedicated volunteers. At the Museum we are always on the lookout for artefacts and objects which will help us keep the story of maritime historical activity alive and interesting and in so doing make a visit to the Museum both a positive and memorable experience for visitors of all ages.
