The Houghton Lake Area Alano Club exists to provide a safe secure meeting place for recovering alcohol and drug addicted individuals and their families as well as a social club for fellowship and social functions for its members.

The Houghton Lake Area Alano Club was incorporated in 1993 and is a non-profit organization.

The Houghton Lake Area Alano Club is owned, operated and maintained by members. The Houghton Lake Area Alano Club is an independent organization and is not affiliated with A. A, N.A. or any other organization

Houghton Lake Area Alano Club membership is obtained by submitting an application and paying monthly dues. Membership is maintained by continuing to pay dues and respecting membership rules.

Financial support is obtained by membership dues, rent from meetings, contributions and an annual grant from the United Way to help offset our utility expenses.
