Founded in 1957, Home Care Partners, (formerly Homemaker Health Aide Service of the National Capital Area, Inc.), is a private, non-profit Home Care agency that provides a wide range of supportive services for elderly, chronically ill, and disabled residents in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Home Care Partners provides the supportive, non-medical Home Care services most needed to help clients remain in the setting they overwhelmingly prefer their own homes.
Home Care Partners is licensed, and insured, and also accredited by the Joint Commission, (JCAHO), the standard setting organization in the health care field. Home Care Partners is the area?s largest non-profit Home Care aide agency and is the only Home Care agency in the metropolitan area that offers qualified individuals subsidized Home Care services. Our goal is to support clients to remain in their own homes, provide respite to caregivers, and improve our clients? ability to manage independently through the use of trained Home Care aides and professional social work and nurse case managers. While our services are broadly available, we have a strong commitment to providing services for those who need them most, regardless of ability to pay.
