The Harwich Historical Society in Harwich, Massachussets, is a private, non-profit Historical Society housed in a historic 1844 building, and this society is dedicated to preserving, interpreting and collecting artifacts relating to the history of Harwich that spans a period of hundreds of years. Our research library and photo archive is open by appointment, and visitors to The Harwich Historical Society are welcome to explore the history of our city through interesting tours of the many exhibits that include clothing, textiles, art works, tools as well as documentary artifacts, manuscripts and periodicals.
