Gumbo Limbo Nature Center in Boca Raton, Florida, is set on 20 acres of coastal preserve, surrounded by a tropical forest. This spectacular nature reserve provides features a 40-foot observation tower that enables visitors to enjoy stunning views of migrating birds, gumbo limbo trees, the Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal Waterway. Established in 1984, this nature reserve provides a safe haven for plant varieties as well as rare and endangered animals. The Ashly Trail and Butterfly Garden is a popular attraction at Gumbo Limbo Nature Center, as is our indoor and outdoor aquariums, and we also operate a successful Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Facility, as well as offering interesting school and public educational programs.
