The Geneva Historical Society in Geneva, Illinois, is dedicated to preserving, interpreting and exhibiting materials relating to local history. After a name change to The Geneva History Center and a relocation to larger premises in 2004, this Historical Society now has two exhibition galleries, a meeting room, archival reading room and award winning exhibits. Through combining research, artifacts and informative commentaries, The Geneva Historical Society presents interesting and educational history lessons about the development of Geneva, as well as permanent and temporary exhibitions. Our Historical Society is funded exclusively through private donations, and is run by dedicated volunteers, facts which attest to the pride the community take in their history.
