Welcome to the Garwoods Restaurant & Pub in Wolfeboro, USA, where you will find a perfect pairing of food and bayside location, there should be something on offer for every taste.

Wolfeboro entrepreneur C.F. Piper constructed this building in1889 adjoining his men's clothing store ( now Bootlegger's) so that he might provide space for Myra Beacham's Ladies Shop (1899-1905).

The building served as either a ladies clothing shop, a dry goods shop or both, until 1980.

During the 1920s the original Piper buildings were separated. This building was moved to its present location and a brick building was constructed in between them to house a First National grocery store (now Dive Winnipesaukee).

In 1984 the building was converted into a restaurant named Aw Shucks, starting a history of dining on the shores of  Wolfeboro Bay. Rumors and the Pirates Den followed in the 1990's, and Garwoods Restaurant and Pub opened in June, 2001.
