Fort Worth Zoo

Fort Worth Zoo in Fort Worth, Texas, United States | Zoo | Conservation | Fun Park

Fort Worth Zoo in Fort Worth, Texas, operates on three important and relevant principles to bring about a positive change through Conservation, providing factual information to encourage an appreciation of wildlife and the environment, and to provide an entertaining experience for families. It is hoped that all Zoos embrace the mission of strengthening the bond and understanding between humans, the environment and the wildlife, and at Fort Worth Zoo we promote responsible caring of wildlife, excellent educational programs and family entertainment. Like all Zoos, our Petting Coral is ever popular with visitors, and although feeding is not allowed, visitors are encouraged to groom a goat or gently touch a calf. Apart from 12 permanent exhibit areas, Fort Worth Zoo also has several outstanding venues available for various functions.
