The sixteen reservations of Cleveland Metroparks consist of over 21,000 acres of various landscapes and attractions for visitors to enjoy. The Park District is commonly referred to as the "Emerald Necklace" because the reservations encircle the city of Cleveland. Discover and enjoy any or all of the reservations!

Cleveland Metroparks,of Cleveland, is a separate political subdivision of the state of Ohio, United States. The Park District is governed by Cleveland Metroparks Board of Park Commissioners, composed of three citizens who serve three-year terms without compensation. Board members are appointed by the presiding Judge of the Probate Court of Cuyahoga County.

TAX DISTRICT

The tax district of Cleveland Metroparks includes all of Cuyahoga County and Hinckley Township in Medina County. The Park District also owns land in Lake, Lorain and Summit counties.
