The Chennault Aviation and Military Museum in Monroe showcases the rich aviation and military history of northeast Louisiana to visitors and there's and exhibit on the life and times of Gen. Claire L. Chennault and the famed Flying Tigers fighter group. The museum is wheelchair accessible and there are a limited number of wheelchairs available, they also offer group tours and admission is always free, but they welcome donations for support. The Chennault Aviation and Military Museum has World War One and Two exhibits as well as German artifacts, a navy exhibit room, Japanese and WW11 memorabilia and much more as well as aircraft and vehicles on static display, come for a fascinating visit and walk back in time to yesteryear.
