Castine Yacht Club in Castine, Hancock County, United States | Sailing

The Castine Yacht Club is a private club dedicated to the encouragement of yachting in our Town. The use of our facilities is not offered on a commerical basis, but rather as a courtesy extended to visitors from other yacht clubs.

Sailing lessons for juniors are scheduled for eight consecutive weeks this season beginning in late June. Junior sailors are between the ages of 8 and 18 or having completed the second grade. The junior sailing lesson program is staffed by a Senior Instructor or Sailing Master and Assistant Instructors. Lessons are scheduled for Monday and Thursday or Tuesday and Friday with a day sail for all students on Wednesday. Parents are encouraged to come along on Wednesday's day sail. You don't need a boat to come, but additional yachts are always welcome.
