The Boothby Inn

The Boothby Inn in Erie, Erie County, United States | Bed and Breakfast

Step up to a special expErience at The Boothby Inn, Erie United States!

The vacationers retreat at our Bed and Breakfast.

Named for Gloria Spencer Boothby, the owner's Mother's maiden name, this 1888 Victorian home was completely renovated for it's Grand Opening of the Bed and Breakfast on June 1st, 2001.

The Boothby Inn is within walking distance of many wonderful restaurants on or near the bayfront, Presque Isle State Park which has the only beaches in Pennsylvania, the Erie Maritime Museum, and the Brig Niagara. It also sits practically on the campus of Gannon University and is very close to Mercyhurst College. Penn State Erie-The Behrend College and Edinboro University of PA are also minutes away.

When you open the front door of The Boothby Inn you are in a spectacular entrance hall with the original wood stairway and stained glass windows leading to a living room with a working fireplace, and a library with a fireplace and a game table that is just waiting for you. Off of the library is the very cozy Shakespeare Room, so called because of the original tiles marking various Shakespeare plays that surround the fireplace?
