Allenholm Farm in South Hero, Vermont began all the way back in 1870 and has now stayed in the family over 7 generations of healthy fruit growing. They have 25 acres of apples, and summer harvests of raspberries, blueberries and tart cherries which are available at their Farm stand. You can pick your own apples during the fall apples harvest, visit the Farm animals, enjoy a Maple Creemee or one of Papa Ray's mouthwatering homemade pies, they are open daily from late May to December 24th. They have a petting paddock with playground and picnic area, host numerous school tours with a tractor driven wagon ride out to the orchard and apple picking, as well as a tour of the packing house and more, they also welcome motor couch tours, seniors, corporate gatherings and reunions, and it's the perfect setting for an hour or two of relaxation on your journey. The Farm store at Allenholm Farm has a wonderful array of Vermont products including honey, Maple Syrup, cheese, their own Empire applesauce and dried Empires, Allenholm Crab Apple Jelly, summer berries, sweet cider and more, come for an unforgettable visit.
