Vibrant flavors. Cozy ambiance. Captivating visuals. These are the signs of Aldente Cafe & Lounge, a Lincoln Park hotspot that opened in November 2004. Aldente is an extraordinary new concept offering contemporary favorites with an Italian flair in an exciting, yet intimate setting design. "This isn't the typical Italian Restaurant," says Executive Chef and General Manager Larry Pierce (former Executive Chef of the Green Room.) Aldente is a new take on Italian cuisine in highly styled setting located in the popular Clybourn and North Avenue shopping paradise as well as a mere walking distance to the Royal George and Steppenwolf Theatre. We're looking to introduce Chicagoans to the range of flavors found in various regions of Italy as well as taking a step further by taking contemporary favorites and cooking it with an Italian flair. We're introducing a menu that features more seasonal item presented in smaller plates or Mediterranean tapas style.
