Welcome to The Hibel Museum of Art

The Hibel Museum of Art is located on the John D. MacArthur Campus of Florida Atlantic University in Jupiter, Florida. The museum's mission is to serve as a multi-functional cultural and educational institution where the public can find resources for the study and appreciation of a broad collection of Hibel art, the museum’s collection of antique artifacts, and art in general. Cultural programs such as teas, summer art camps, the Promenade Concert Series, adult art workshops, and children’s year-round art classes are available to community residents and visitors alike.

The Hibel Museum of Art Jupiter USA, is the world’s only not-for-profit, public museum dedicated to the art of a living American woman.

The museum not only showcases over 1,200 pieces of Edna Hibel’s art, but also hosts other art collections on tour. Years of dedication to her art earned Edna recognition from the World Cultural Council in the Netherlands in November 2001 by presenting her with The Leonardo da Vinci World Award of Arts.

The Hibel Museum of Art and the Hibel Museum Gallery are operated by the Edna Hibel Art Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Proceeds derived from the sale of items in our Museum Gift Shop, Hibel Museum Gallery and private donations support the museum.
