Bonchurch

Bonchurch is situated half a mile from Ventnor and three miles from Shanklin. Famous for its past literary residents, Dickens, Swinburne and Shaw, it also has the famous landslip walk starting in the village - and not forgetting the famous pond, a place to watch the ducks and fish lead their uncomplicated lives to the amusement of the visitors and holidaymakers.
