Padova or Padua is a city in North Eastern Italy perfect for boating on the canals and also visiting the castles, walled cities and abbeys. There are many typical small shops to visit, and wine tasting is available in the many wine cellars, as well as excellent restaurants for dining on traditional cuisine. Padua is home to an ancient university, and with the many historical sites there is a lot to do here as a touristm and more than a day is needed to explore the city properly.
