Campitello di Fassa is the "alpine" capital at the outlet of Val Duron.

Here was born one of the greatest climbers of the Dolomites of the XIXth century: Luigi Rizzi

Two goats are the symbol of Campitello, famous for the flourishing breeding of these animals.
