Lovere

Lovere is an elegant small town on the northern side of the lake. A beautiful holiday town on the outlet of the ‘Valle Camonica’ and ‘Cavallina’.

The houses in the city have overhanging wooden roofs, typical of Switzerland, united with the heavy stone arcades of Italy; it faces a lake and has a semicircle of mountains behind. Lovere is part of Borghi più belli d´Italia (the most beautiful Italian boroughs).

Lovere possesses a silk-spinning factory, and the Stablimento Metallurgico Gregorini, a large iron-work and cannon foundry, employs 1600 workmen.
