Carna is a small area in Connemara, Co. Galway on the shores of Galway Bay, Ireland. Enjoy fihsing for brown trout and the occasional sea trout in the Carna Loughs, and the area is well known for boat making of the currach, a traditional rowing boat made from wooden slats and tar.
