Duemmer See

The Dummersee is a lake in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It is located some 25 km from the border with Schleswig-Holstein and about 18 km away from Schwerin, between the Schaalsee in Schwerin Lake. In the middle of the lake lies the peninsula Small Werder extends from the west bank. Located south of the island of Great Werder. The lake is approximately 3.6 km long and max. 600 m breit. 600 m wide. In the ditches, from the west to the lake, bringing the rises brews. The border between the districts of North West Mecklenburg and Ludwigslust runs in the middle of the lake in north-south direction. The Dummersee is a very clean lake and is located within a landscape conservation area. On the south bank, there is a campsite. On the old maps rises Dummersee the lake.
