In summer time almost every day afternoon blow a refreshing cool wind from the west on a joy of the surfers and sail men as well as the swimmers by the beach. Municipality of Povljana on the island of Pag abounds in prehistoric archaeological localities. So far, the oldest item found is a fragment of a stone axe from copper-stone age (Eneolithic).
