Costa Rica is the second smallest of the Central American countries, bordered by the Pacific Ocean in the West and the Atlantic in the East. Costa Rica offers the traveller an incredible variety of nature and wildlife, easy and safe to explore. Roughly 18% of Costa Rica's territory is constituted as National Park or Reserve, including two parks declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
