Mandalay

Mandalay is located in the Mandalay District of the Mandalay Region in Myanmar (Burma.) Founded in 1857 by King Mindon, and with many Burmese kings having lived here in the past, it still has many palaces and a royal feel to it. Mandalay with its many indigenous groups, Chinese and Indian immigrants offers varied and wonderful cuisines from these regions. Mandalay also boasts majestic sites, iconic buildings, and monuments, the best in all of Myanmar.
