    Scugog Shores Museum consists of the museum village and the heritage centre located on the shores of Scugog Island overlooking Port Perry, Ontario, Canada, and they preserve the heritage of all peoples that have lived here from the First nations to the early settlers. The museum grounds consists of 12 restored buildings in the historic village where artifacts illustrate the cultural and natural history and there are heritage flower and vegetable gardens, as well as the Ojibway Heritage Interpretive Lands. Scugog Shores Museum offers guided tours, special events and school programs and is open 7 days of the week, for a fun learning and cultural experience. Scugog Shores Museum also offers the Church, a historical building and unique setting for wedding ceremonies and small receptions.

    Scugog Shores Heritage Centre and Archives on Scugog Island overlooking Port Perry, Ontario, Canada, is the home of the township's archives with exhibit space. This 4000 square foot development offers exhibits and galleries showcasing the First Nations history and local history, rotating galleries include art shows and traveling exhibits, and they offer school and public programs. Scugog Shores Heritage Centre and Archives also has a gift shop with unique gift items, consignment art and an array of local products including food products of maple syrup and wildflower honey, they also have books, historical post cards, handmade pioneer toys, museum print collections and more, a must visit.
