We have a large assortment of Alpaca carded fibre and yarn. Alpaca fibre is soft as cashmere, and is 30% warmer than the same weight of merino wool.

Alpaca fibre is unique as it contains microscopic air pockets in the core of the fibre giving it excellent insulating qualities. Alpaca fibre is strong and resilient.
Alpaca fibre contains almost no grease, oil or lanolin and does not smell. It also has less prickle factor than most other animal fibres and can worn comfortably against the skin.
