At Strewn Inc, we're committed to making premium VQA wines from grapes grown in the Niagara peninsula. In addition, we offer an informative and enjoyable Winery experience at our beautiful property at 1339 Lakeshore Road, just outside the Old Town of Niagara on the Lake. These include special structured tastings of our ultra premium wines each month at the "Terroir" tasting bar, monthly seminars, special events.
At Strewn Inc, we focus on a limited number of "noble" vinifera grape varieties that do particularly well here. Our red wines are made from Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Our whites are from Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurztraminer and Pinot Blanc. In addition, for Icewine and Select Late Harvest (its companion dessert wine) we grow Vidal, a French hybrid grape that is grown more in Niagara on the Lake than any other wine region in the world.
