The park is characterised by a broad diversity of local and migratory wildlife, marine and bird species. This area is free of malaria.

The nature in KwaZulu-Natal is very divers and colourful. We have tried to bring this atmosphere into the 4 rooms, they are bright, large and have big windows with a wide pivot door to your private garden and terrace. Each room has a comfortable sitting area and is fitted with air-conditioning (heating & cooling), ceiling fan, mini bar, satellite DSTV with 12 channels, safe, king size bed with Auping mattresses, wireless internet connection , hairdryer, coffee and tea facilities.

The very luxurious rooms are situated at the border of the park with a direct view onto landscaped gardens of the Wetland Park. Guests can enjoy the bushbuck, red duiker, monkey, mongoose, bush baby, a variety birds and insects and at night the hippo. The silence and the constant sound of the sea reminds you where you are.

The bathroom is very luxurious with a bath and a separate shower and for the real swimmer there is a big saltwater pool with rim flow (12X5 meter) and 2 large sun decks.
