Welcome to Scotia & Bennett House. Both Houses are run by Celia Stewart. As well as running two B&B's Celia cooks home-made cakes, biscuits, buns, pies & sausage rolls and sells them through the local shops. So you will always have some tasty snacks to nibble!
Bennett House is named after the surname of Celia's mother and has been well known around Stanley for years because of its porch full of roses throughout the summer - often admired by locals and tourists alike. Scotia House is named after Celia's late husband Bob's Scottish roots, and has been her home for the last 19 years.
These B&B's have often been described as a 'home from home'. You will often see Celia's daughters popping in and out throughout the day for a cup of tea and a chat. You will never be lonely because as well as the friendly family atmosphere their home wouldn't be home without their pets. The cats and friendly dog love to have new people around to make a fuss of them.
