The tallest cast-iron tower on the SA Coast
Close to the village of Kommetjie, Slangkop Lighthouse was commissioned in 1919. The climb to the top of the Lighthouse is steep, but well worth the magnificent view. The surrounding area is excellent for bird-watching and marine life.
