We are a small, family run Hotel in the heart of Varberg.
While you are staying here, you will enjoy a warm and comfortable atmosphere, which will make you feel right at home.
The Hotel is within walking distance of everything in Varberg...the Fort, the Square, cafes and restaurants and the ocean.
Our rooms are romantically furnished with canopy beds and their own small, personal touches.
All of our rooms have beds for two in a variety of sizes, cable tv and private baths.
Our two largest rooms have balconies with a lovely view of Järnvägs Park. The park has lots of trees and flowers which bloom all summer.
The Hotel also has a small courtyard with garden furniture where you can enjoy something to drink or just relax after your day's activities.
We are a Danish/Swedish coupled named Diba and Gert Okén who own and operate the Hotel.
We moved to Varberg after managing a Hotel in Key West, Florida, the southernmost point in the USA, for six years.
We took over the Hotel in Varberg, which was then called Hotel Bergklinten, in December, 2002.
When we purchased the Hotel it was very run down and in poor condition. But, during the winter and spring of 2003, we completely renovated it We have tried to keep the old world charm while adding all of the modern comforts.
