Welcome to peace and tranquillity at Maple Grove Cottage, situated in Winding Lane, Upper Hogsback, Eastern Cape, South Africa. Unwind in these peaceful surroundings punctuated only by the the sounds of nature. Spend quality time with your loved ones and do as much or as little as you desire.

Enjoy the energetic hiking trails, take one of the leisurely forest walks or meander along the Maple Grove paths. In summer relax on the deck overlooking the Maple trees. During winter curl up in front of the log fire with a good book.

Maple Grove Cottage consists of:
* Small self-catering cabin, on the lower level of our Log Home
* With own Private Entrance, comprising separate Bedroom with twin beds and en-suite bathroom (can be made up as King Size bed on request)
* With large walk-in shower.
* The lounge has a bed in it which can be used for a third person if required.
* DSTV
* Queen Anne Fireplace
* Kitchenette with bar fridge and microwave and mini-oven
* Portable braai

Outdoor enthusiasts will find a vast array of challenging activities in the Eastern Cape, including Nature walks, Hiking, Photography, Mountain Biking, 4x4 Trails and Bass Fishing.

On request, Peter and Lyndsay will gladly arrange for you to partake in one of the following activities:

Golf at Katberg Estate, Fort Beaufort or Cathcart Country Clubs (approx 1 ½ hr away)
Horse riding, a short drive away at a nearby farm
Trout fishing, per kind permission of local farmers
Guided Nature Walks with a Birding Enthusiast.
