In the Katwijk's Museum memories of the coastal town's past are vividly portrayed in paintings, photographs, costumes, ornaments, modelships, fishery artefacts, several period rooms, a reconstructed ship's bridge and the interiors of a drapery shop, a sailmaker's and a coppery. Temporary displays, where work of contemporary artists may be admired, are held on a regular basis at Katwijks Museum.
