Welcome to the Gimli Art Club, Canada. The mission of the Gimli Art Club is to foster and promote the spirit of art in the community by educating and by participating in community activities and by exhibiting art to the public. All members share the responsibility for their Club,and will be expected to contribute effort and time to its operation. The creative efforts of all Club members and other participants will be shown respect. The Club will work cooperatively and positively with other groups and institutions in the community. In its workshops and gallery displays, the Gimli Art Club works in many areas: painting in watercolours, in oils and in other media; ceramics and pottery, from pots to plates to figurines to plaques and many others; also recently added have been the glass arts, both stained for foil and leaded designs as well as kiln fused glass artwork; batik and raku and drawing classes are also much in demand. The members of the Gimli Art Club are constantly fine-tuning their own talents and encouraging others to try new experiences in the world of art.
